The presidents of ZNM Mladen Chadikovski and MEDIUM Skopje Viktor Stefanovski signed a memorandum of cooperation. The Association of Journalists of Macedonia (ZNM) and the Association for the Promotion of Dialogue, Tolerance and Human Rights “MEDIUM” Skopje yesterday in the premises of ZNM agreed to cooperate, hold trainings and campaigns in order to improve the freedom of speech and the rights of journalists.

The memorandum implies activities that will refer to the promotion of transparency and accountability  of the public institutions, as well as accurate and timely information for the citizens.

The two associations in the past period, among other things, determined that there is room for cooperation on one of the most pressing topics in the media, which is guaranteeing freedom of speech in the media space.

In the upcoming period, it is planned to issue joint publications, which would influence in the direction of raising awareness about the importance of the role of the media in society.
