Weekend of Dialogue – Journalists Against Prejudice is a journalistic initiative for increased interpersonal communication and exchange of information with journalists from neighboring countries, with the aim of promoting professional journalism towards countering fake news.

The goal is to enable communication and co-operation as a unique sound basis for breaking prejudices and stereotypes and building trust.

Journalists from neighboring countries are going to talk to each other, without any intermediaries, about the media situation, the creation of information, and to locate points that provoke emotions in the reporting.

Journalism or nationality? What is important in creating information? Can journalists overcome the hate speech?

The first “Weekend of Dialogue” was organized in cooperation with journalists from Bulgaria, who will be visiting Ohrid. The initiative is promoted by the Association for the Promotion of Dialogue, Tolerance and Human Rights “MEDIUM” – Skopje, and financially supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Skopje.
